Way To Go

Alter handles the design, production, printing, and distribution for the Baltimore Metropolitan Council’s Way To Go magazine. It is a bi-annual publication and is between 8 and 16 pages.
Way To Go is an educational publication for commuters and potential commuters. It is difficult to make commuting stylish and, at the same time, inform the general public and employers about the many benefits of public transportation and/or alternate forms of commuting. The way to do it? Create a fun, vibrant, stylized piece that is magna stripped into STYLE magazine. It was also distributed in a newspaper as an insert and at public events sponsored by the BMC.
When the Baltimore Metropolitan Council’s RideShare program wanted to develop a new publication to reach area commuters, Alter brought encouragement, creativity and business savvy to the table. Alter’s project managers and designers became part of our team, and worked closely with us to produce and distribute a quality publication we can all be proud of. The second issue of Way to Go just hit the street, and we’re already working on a third issue. Alter has given us an effective, affordable vehicle for reaching our target audience.
