Applause
Applause magazine is the official magazine of the Music Center at Strathmore in Bethesda, Md. Alter launched Applause in February 2005 to coincide with the Music Center’s grand opening and published it for four seasons on behalf of the four official performing arts partners at the Center: Strathmore, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Washington Performing Arts Society, and the National Philharmonic. Published seven times during the concert season, Applause carries not only the arts organizations’ important concert program information, but also includes feature stories about the arts, interviews with renowned guest artists coming to the venue, and information about upcoming events.
